Millenia Walk— MW Loves Local, 2015
Live drawing installation
The artwork on the word “Loves” is a whimsical interpretation of my biggest local love, our FOOD! This tribute to food joined by some other iconic local elements such as our green Garden City and the Merlion. At the same time, it highlights the iconic architectural feature of Millenia Walk's building. These illustrations are represented visual puns with a quirky twist.
Food is such a strong identity of Singapore that locals, of all ages, love and can identify with. Our local food is also what I miss most about Singapore when I travel. Despite the multi-cultural influences on our food, they still have a very strong local flavor. With that, I would like to pay tribute to our local food and share my ‘Local Love’ with the rest of Singapore in this piece of art installation.
